Job Summary

The VAT Manager will report to the Head of Tax/Tax Director.
As the sole VAT person at Emaar, the VAT Manager will be responsible for covering a number of sectors such as real estate, hospitality , entertainment, leisure.
The VAT Manager will assist with the forthcoming VAT implementation from both a project management perspective and a VAT technical perspective.
They will coordinate with all of the relevant Emaar entities to ensure that the necessary actions are being undertaken to become VAT ready.
They will be the main point of contact with our External Advisors in relation to VAT.
Provide any other necessary assistance that may be required throughout the VAT implementation (e.g. reviewing of contracts, liaising with customers and suppliers, etc.).
Assume responsibility for the VAT reporting and compliance.
Assume responsibility for the day to day VAT affairs.
Be the main point of contact for any internal VAT queries.
