The Finance Manager will play a key role in overseeing day-to-day financial aspects of the programme, particularly in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and monitoring activities to provide strategic financial insights that supports decision-making.
Financial Planning and Analysis
Develop and implement financial plans aligned with the goals and objectives of the programme.
Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and forecasts to provide insights into the programme's financial performance and support programme decision-making.
Develop and monitor KPIs and KRIs to assess the financial health and performance of the programme. Financial Reporting
Prepare and present regular financial reports and management packs to the Programme Director and relevant stakeholders, ensuring the reports comply with relevant accounting standards.
Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits, as required. Financial Resource Allocation and Management
Work closely with Programme Director and other key programme stakeholders to allocate financial resources efficiently and effectively.
Monitor and control programme expenditures to ensure adherence to the approved budget.
Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with the programme. Financial Training and Awareness
Provide financial training and awareness sessions to program team members as needed.
A bachelors degree in Accounting and / or Finance, Business Administration or a related field. A masters degree and / or relevant accounting / finance certifications is a plus. Years o
Proven experience in financial management, with a minimum 8+ in a managerial role, preferably in the context of large-scale transformation programs or similar corporate initiatives.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
In-depth knowledge of IFRS.
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly and concisely, particularly to non-financial stakeholders.
Effective negotiation skills for financial aspects of vendor contracts.
Flexibility and adaptability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment inherent to transformation programs.
