Assist in steering the Client's Retail Joint Venture Portfolio by driving value extraction and overseeing daily interactions with joint venture partners. Collaborate closely with the Head of Joint Venture Portfolio to ensure strategic goals align with corporate objectives and safeguard investments.
Conduct comprehensive due diligence and financial performance analysis on potential and existing joint ventures. Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, maintaining rigorous adherence to legal and compliance standards throughout the lifecycle of each joint venture.
Manage the preparation and execution of essential legal documents such as Shareholders\' agreements and management contracts. Ensure all joint venture agreements comply with applicable laws and corporate policies, and address any legal issues or disputes as they arise.
Perform detailed evaluations of joint venture operations, establishing financial benchmarks and creating advanced financial models. Prepare and present detailed reports and dashboards to senior management, providing actionable insights and supporting strategic decision-making.
Work with external tax advisors to ensure all joint venture activities comply with relevant tax requirements. Manage communications and documentation related to tax matters without providing direct tax advice.
Handle diverse administrative tasks linked to joint venture governance, including document control and oversight of governance practices. Ensure all administrative processes align with the strategic objectives of the joint venture portfolio.
Requires a Bachelors degree in a relevant field; an MBA is highly preferred. Candidates should have 5-7 years of experience in M&A, transaction advisory, or portfolio management, demonstrating a deep understanding of financial principles and joint venture dynamics.
Must possess strong financial analysis and modeling skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and proficiency in English. Additional language skills in Arabic, Italian, or French are advantageous.
