As they continue to grow, we are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Finance Manager, working directly for the CEO, and contribute to the financial success of the organization, bringing the accounts \'in-house\' for the first time.The Finance Manager will play a pivotal role in managing the financial health of the manufacturing operations. This position requires a dynamic individual with a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, proactive, and possess a keen attention to detail.Responsibilities
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
Analyze financial data and provide insights to management for strategic decision-making.
Oversee cost accounting processes, including analyzing production costs and recommending cost-saving initiatives.
Monitor and report on variances between actual and budgeted costs.
Conduct month-end closing procedures, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial records.
Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and forecasts.
Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis reports.
Manage and reconcile inventory accounts.
Work closely with operations to ensure accurate recording of inventory transactions.
Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
Assist in coordinating external audits and provide necessary documentation.
Identify opportunities for process improvements within the finance department.
Implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Handle all invoicing, credit control and liaising with the banks
VAT compliance
Dealing with year end audit
Qualifications
Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
ACA/ACCA designation preferred.
3-5 years of experience in accounting, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting.
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, XERO) and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
