The successful candidate will have a proven track record in the Advertising & Media Signage industry, demonstrating expertise in a broad range of financial functions. This role demands an individual with strong analytical skills, strategic insight, and the ability to drive financial performance across various aspects of the business.Key Responsibilities: * Finance and Accounting Function:
Oversee all finance and accounting operations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Manage day-to-day financial transactions, reconciliations, and reporting.
Financial Planning & Control:
Develop and execute financial strategies and controls.
Prepare financial forecasts, budgets, and variance analyses to guide business decisions.
Financial Reporting & Modelling:
Generate and review financial reports, including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
Build and maintain financial models to support strategic planning and decision-making.
Internal & External Audit:
Coordinate and manage internal and external audit processes.
Ensure timely and accurate responses to audit findings and recommendations.
Knowledge of IFRS:
Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) in all financial reporting and documentation.
Budgeting & Variance Analysis:
Lead the budgeting process, including preparation and monitoring.
Perform variance analysis to identify and address discrepancies.
Cost Control Strategies:
Develop and implement cost control measures to optimize financial performance.
Monitor and analyze cost trends and recommend corrective actions.
Treasury Management:
Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and investment strategies.
Oversee treasury functions to ensure liquidity and financial stability.
Due Diligence & Feasibility Studies:
Conduct due diligence for business development opportunities and strategic initiatives.
Perform feasibility studies to assess the viability of potential projects and investments.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure adherence to local and international regulatory requirements.
Manage compliance with VAT, corporate taxation, and Economic Substance Regulation reporting.
Stakeholder Interaction:
Liaise with key stakeholders, including subsidiaries, associates, and external partners.
Foster strong relationships and facilitate effective communication.
Management Reporting:
Prepare and present management reports on financial performance and business operations.
Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data.
Risk Management & Control:
Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate financial risks.
Monitor and control financial risks across the organization.
Corporate Governance:
Ensure compliance with corporate governance standards and practices.
Promote transparency and accountability in financial management.
Liaise with Subsidiaries & Associates:
Oversee intercompany reconciliations and ensure accurate consolidation of financials.
Coordinate financial activities and reporting with subsidiaries and associates.
Consolidation of Financials:
Manage the consolidation process for group-level financial statements.
Ensure accurate and timely consolidation of financial data.
Manage Insurance Portfolio at Group Level:
Oversee the groups insurance portfolio and ensure adequate coverage.
Manage insurance claims and liaise with insurance providers.
Reporting on Verticals/Divisional Performances:
Analyze and report on the performance of different verticals and divisions.
Provide insights to support performance improvement and strategic decisions.
Supervision of Procurement Process:
Supervise procurement activities to ensure cost efficiency and compliance.
Review and approve procurement-related financial transactions.
VAT, Corporate Taxation & Filing of Economic Substance Regulation Report:
Manage VAT compliance, corporate taxation, and filing requirements.
Prepare and submit the Economic Substance Regulation report.
ERP Implementation:
Lead ERP system implementation and upgrades.
Ensure effective integration and utilization of ERP systems.
Cross-Functional Team Coordination:
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to support financial objectives and initiatives.
Facilitate collaboration and communication across departments.
Project & Data Management:
Manage financial projects and ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Oversee project budgets, timelines, and deliverables.
Experience in Company Formations & Liquidations:
Handle processes related to company formations and liquidations.
Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements during these processes.
Skills & Qualifications:
Education: Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Professional qualification (CPA, CA, CFA, CMA, ACCA, or equivalent) preferred.
Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in finance and accounting within the Advertising & Media Signage industry. International accounting exposure is advantageous.
Knowledge: In-depth understanding of IFRS, financial planning, budgeting, variance analysis, and cost control strategies.
