Job Summary
The Chief Accountant / Finance Manager will oversee the financial operations of Trace Hospitality, focusing on its F&B concepts, subsidiaries, and food truck businesses. This role encompasses strategic financial planning, analysis, payroll and ERP management, P&L oversight, audit coordination, corporate tax compliance, and system transitions. The Chief Accountant / Finance Manager will lead system transitions across HR Information System, Foodics (POS), QuickBooks, and ERP platforms, ensuring smooth integration and optimization. This position supports Trace Hospitality's long-term growth and profitability through efficient financial management and technological adaptability.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic and Business Planning
• Develop and implement strategic financial plans that align with Trace Hospitality's long-term goals and expansion into new F&B ventures and food truck businesses.
• Lead financial modeling, feasibility studies, and analysis to support business expansion and growth initiatives.
• Assess market trends, competitive positioning, and industry standards to guide business planning and decision-making.
2. Financial Planning and Analysis
• Oversee budget creation, financial forecasting, and variance analysis for all business units.
• Establish performance metrics and KPIs to monitor financial performance and operational efficiency across the organization.
3. System Transition and Integration
• Lead the transition and integration of finance-related systems, including the HR Information System, Foodics (POS), QuickBooks, and ERP platforms.
• Collaborate with IT and operations teams to ensure smooth deployment and integration of each system, maximizing compatibility and functionality.
• Provide training and support to the finance and operations teams, ensuring seamless adoption of new systems.
4. P&L Management
• Review and manage Profit and Loss (P&L) statements for all F&B concepts, ensuring accuracy, and identifying profitability improvement areas.
• Collaborate with department heads to develop action plans based on P&L findings and monitor budget adherence.
5. Payroll and ERP Management
• Oversee payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate salary payments in line with UAE labor regulations.
• Administer and optimize the ERP system to streamline financial reporting, data management, and operational efficiency.
• Train finance team members on ERP functionality and troubleshoot issues, identifying enhancements as needed.
6. Financial Reporting, Compliance, and Corporate Tax
• Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with UAE regulations and internal policies.
• Manage corporate tax planning, VAT compliance, and timely filing to meet UAE requirements.
• Ensure all financial reporting meets audit standards and regulatory requirements.
7. Audit and Internal Controls
• Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure financial data accuracy and compliance with corporate policies.
• Coordinate with external auditors, providing required documentation and addressing audit findings to strengthen internal processes.
8. Cost Control and Profitability Optimization
• Monitor and manage food, beverage, and operational costs, implementing cost control measures to maximize profitability.
• Establish effective inventory management and purchasing guidelines to minimize wastage and optimize resources.
9. Cash Flow and Working Capital Management
• Oversee cash flow management, ensuring sufficient liquidity for daily operations and future investments.
• Prepare cash flow forecasts and manage accounts receivable/payable for optimal working capital.
10. Business Performance Analysis and Support
• Conduct analysis of sales, revenue trends, and expenses to support business decisions for F&B and food truck operations.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations that guide strategic decisions and support operational improvements.
11. Team Leadership and Development
• Lead, mentor, and manage the finance team, fostering a collaborative environment and promoting continuous learning.
• Set clear objectives for team members, conduct performance evaluations, and provide ongoing development and training.
Qualifications and Requirements
• Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CMA, CPA, or ACCA certification preferred).
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in senior finance or accounting roles, ideally within F&B, hospitality, or retail sectors.
Skills:
• Proficiency in ERP systems, QuickBooks, and POS platforms (e.g., Foodics) as well as experience with HR Information Systems.
• Expertise in financial analysis, budgeting, P&L management, tax compliance, and payroll management.
• Strong knowledge of UAE financial regulations, corporate tax, and VAT laws.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills for overseeing system transitions and managing finance teams.

Pay: AED12,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
