Job Description

Job Summary:

The company is seeking an experienced female finance manager with UAE experience, preferably in the salon industry. The Finance Manager will oversee all financial operations for our spa and salon business, ensuring accurate financial reporting, effective budget management, and sound financial planning. They will collaborate closely with the Operations Manager and management team to maximize profitability, enhance financial controls, and support the overall strategic goals of the organization. Key Responsibilities:

• •Financial Reporting & Analysis: • Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, P&L reports, balance sheets, and cash flow statements to monitor performance. Present financial insights to the leadership team, highlighting trends, risks, and opportunities.
• •Budgeting & Forecasting: • Lead the annual budgeting process and monthly forecasting for all revenue and expense areas, including retail sales, service income, labor, and overhead. Provide guidance to department heads in budget preparation and management.
• •Cost Control & Profitability Analysis: • Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend initiatives to improve profitability. Regularly review vendor contracts, service costs, and product margins, particularly in retail and service areas.
• •Cash Flow Management: • Oversee cash flow planning and forecasting, ensuring optimal liquidity to meet operational needs. Monitor inventory levels in collaboration with purchasing to balance cost control and product availability.
• •Payroll Management: • Coordinate with HR to oversee and complete payroll processing and ensure accuracy in commission structures, bonuses, and benefits tracking for staff.
• •Compliance & Internal Controls: • Develop and enforce financial policies and internal controls to safeguard assets, ensure compliance with relevant laws, and maintain high standards in financial operations. Oversee audits and implement corrective actions as needed.
• •Pricing Strategy: • Collaborate with the operations and marketing teams to evaluate and adjust pricing for services and products, taking into consideration market trends, competitor analysis, and cost factors to optimize profitability.
• •Financial Systems & Process Improvement: • Implement and maintain financial software systems to enhance efficiency in financial reporting and analysis. Continuously review and improve financial processes to streamline operations.
• •Team Leadership & Development: • Manage and mentor finance team members, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Provide training and support to enhance the financial literacy of non-finance staff, particularly in budget management.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred.

Experience: 5+ years of finance experience, preferably in the hospitality, wellness, or beauty industry. Prior experience in spa, salon, or retail environments is a plus.

Skills:

• Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
• Proficient in financial software and accounting platforms (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or industry-specific software).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
• Knowledge of industry-specific cost structures, service pricing, and retail operations.
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in financial reporting.

Working Conditions:

This role is primarily office-based, with some visits to salon and other locations as necessary.

Experience:

• Salon, Beauty & Wellness: 5 years (Preferred)
