Key Responsibilities:1. Financial Management:
• Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and financial plans for trading and manufacturing operations.
• Prepare, analyze, and present financial reports to management, highlighting performance, variances, and recommendations.
• Ensure accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closures.
2. Cost Control and Optimization:
• Implement effective cost-control measures across trading and manufacturing processes.
• Analyze production costs, pricing, and profitability, suggesting improvements to maximize efficiency.
• Monitor inventory levels and procurement costs to avoid overstocking or stockouts.
3. Compliance and Audit:
• Ensure compliance with local, regional, and international financial regulations.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors to complete audits successfully and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate financial records as per industry and legal standards.
4. Cash Flow and Risk Management:
• Manage cash flow to ensure operational liquidity.
• Assess financial risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Oversee credit control and manage relationships with financial institutions.
5. Team Leadership:
• Lead and mentor the finance team, ensuring skill development and high performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align financial strategies with organizational goals.
6. Strategic Support:
• Provide financial insights to support decision-making for trading and manufacturing expansions or modifications.
• Evaluate investment opportunities and prepare financial models to aid management decisions.
Qualifications and Skills:Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master's degree or MBA preferred).
• CPA, CA, or ACCA certification is a plus.
Experience:
• Minimum 10+ experience in finance, with at least [Y years] in a leadership role within trading and manufacturing industries.
• Strong understanding of financial regulations, costing, and reporting in both domains.
