DESIGNATION : Finance Controller (CA Qualified with Hospitality experience only)

JOB ROLE : Financial & Management Reporting

REPORTING TO : CFO

Direct Reportee : Senior Accountants

Job Responsibility

Job Activity

Financial Reporting & Audit

Monthly book closing with all accruals

• To perform month end checks for Accounts Payable, Fixed Assets and General Ledger in the finance system.Consolidation of TB and finalization of accounts

Assist in month-end closing, prepare journal entries as necessary, analyze inventory evaluation etc

Support in reporting requirements such as audit schedules and others

To liaise with auditors - statutory and internal audit.

MIS

• To produce timely and reliable management information reports on a daily / weekly /monthly basis.
• To develop and control a centralised chart of accounts to ensure that accounts are effectively managed.
• To investigate variances against budgets and provide analysis of differences.
• Work in special projects as required
• To develop new systems/ reports to respond to the changing needs of the business/organisation.
• To ensure that MIS data is accurate and robust ensuring that reports are accessible and to all stakeholders.
• To prepare feasibility studies for new projects

General Ledger

Review of General Ledger on a concurrent basis and initiate necessary actions/ entries for rectification

Approve requirements of any new account at any location basis the chart of accounts

Control on Inter unit balances and reconciliation

Budgeting

To provide the basic framework and formats to various business units for making their budgets

• Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and cashflow forecasts at Corporate level.

Consolidation of Budgets & Forecasts of multiple business units and providing analysis on KPIs that impacts business.

Requirement:

• Fully qualified CA preferred.
• Hospitality experienced applicants only
• Demonstrable experience of working in management accounting or financial management.
• Good knowledge of budgeting and forecasting issues and techniques.
• Strong knowledge of Accounting Systems (ERP).
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Well versed in Excel and PowerPoint presentations

Experience : Must have 8 to 10 years of experience in Accounts/ MIS/Busniess Planning & Analysis

Location : Abu Dhabi, UAE

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From AED12,000.00 per month
