Our client a Globally successful entertainment company, launching regulated market sports betting & Casino gaming offering within the UAE, is currently searching for an experienced Finance Business Partner (Lottery) to join their lively team based in Abu Dhabi.Responsibilities:
Foster strong relationships with business leaders to understand goals, challenges, and align budget/forecast efforts with objectives, regularly monitoring financial performance against targets and KPIs.
Conduct detailed financial analysis on revenue, customer costs, lifetime value, player behaviour, and market trends, providing insights to optimize outcomes.
Support P&L management for business units, tracking revenues/costs, identifying variances, and recommending corrective actions to ensure profitability and process efficiency.
Collaborate with operations teams on cost reduction and process improvements, ensuring expenditures align with financial strategy.
Prepare financial reports for senior management, emphasizing key performance metrics, trends, and overall financial health.
Provide financial modelling and ad-hoc analysis to assess investments, pricing, product launches, resource allocation, and strategic decisions.
Identify and manage financial risks within the business unit.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, CPA) is preferred.
3-5 years of experience in a finance role, with a focus on business partnering or financial analysis.
Experience in the lottery or related field is highly preferred.
Strong financial modelling and data analysis skills.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and familiarity with financial planning and ERP software.
Understanding of lottery performance metrics.
Must be able to obtain and maintain any licensing or active work cards required, at present or in the future, for this position always.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence non-financial stakeholders.
Proficiency in English is required, proficiency in Arabic is preferred.
