Our client is a global - non-metallic- mining company, leader in the production and distribution of specialty fertilizers, iodine, lithium, and industrial chemicals. Among the roles they are searching globally, they are currently looking for an experienced and dynamic Finance and Administration (based in Casablanca, Morocco, AFRICA) to lead their area for Agricultural business in África.
Their main responsibility will be to act as a bridge between the commercial area, logistics (import and export), and service providers to ensure the proper and successful financial and tax operations of the company, reporting to the Finance Director in Spain, who will, in turn, report to the Director in Chile
Some responsibilities include: Financial Reporting: Establish the SQM COA respecting local regulations if any and prepare the Financial reporting pack for consolidation as per approved formats and deadlines. Cash Flow Management: Maintain oversight of day to day financial transactions including receivables, payables, cash flow management, banking operations etc. AUDIT: Responsible for SOX compliance and assist in the internal and financial audits and take corrective actions in a timely manner. Risk Management: Implement all SQM policies and procedures, specially the ones related to operations such as credit controls and approved delegation of authority matrix and responsible for Insurance. Budgeting: Lead the annual budgeting process as per HQ formats and deadlines . Analyses and report on budget variances. Administration: Provide administrative support for the business & regulatory affairs issuance & renewals of licenses, lease, issuance / renewals, business travel etc. THE SKILLS YOULL NEED Minimum at least 6 years until 10 years post qualification experience. Job title in Engineering, Accounting or equivalent work experience. Qualification CA / ACCA (Chartered Certified Accountants). Experience in tax management and benefits of imports and exports Proficiency English. / Spanish speaking is a plus but not mandatory.
OTHERS Advanced knowledge in Direct/Indirect Tax. Knowledge of FEMA/FERA and other FX regulations. Knowledge of TALLY ERP. Knowledge in accounts payable or related accounting functions. Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a team and interact effectively with suppliers. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
