FINANCIAL REPORTING

Prepare monthly financial statement for each business unit and a group consolidation report.

Chart of Accounts review to ensure business and reporting requirements are maintained, current and relevant.

Standardization of accounting procedures, schedules and implement quality review process.

Development of IFRS accounting policies and procedures and ensure compliance.

Continuous improvement of GL review process for early warning signals.

Report monthly cash flow and bank position, perform bank reconciliations, and provide reports for review.

Preparation of budget at the group level and ensure adherence, and reporting variance analysis to management.

Perform financial analysis and report financial discrepancies to management and recommend effective resolutions.

Prepare and present consolidation, MIS reports, Budgets & variances, Cash flow, Fund flow & break-even analysis.

ACCOUNTING AND BOOK CLOSING

Reconciliation of GL Accounts and taking timely action to resolve any issues.

Monthly reviews of General Ledger /trend analysis, process improvement, streamline process across companies.

Follow and implement on monthly book closure checklist.

Co-ordinate with auditors and ensure timely response, documentation, and information.

Undertake expense, stock, and cash management activities for cost saving at the group level.

Supervise, monitor & review daily transactions and entries before posting in the system.

Coordinate with banks for account opening, negotiating terms and arranging facilities when needed.

Maintaining the Petty cash log after implementing the Policies.

Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll (WPS) payments.

Critical Analysis of Ledgers of the Suppliers & Customers.

Verifying that all accounts are reconciled and updated & performing month-end accounting activities.

Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.

Coordinate with Finance Head to complete assigned accounting tasks within deadlines.

Verify prepaid expenses, depreciation, petty cash accounting, capitalization and other routine charges, units.
