Responsibilities

+ Responsible for monthly close process, financial reporting, and accounting functions for the supporting programs.

+ Manage and review journal entries and monthly account reconciliations.

+ Develops and maintains program EAC forecast on quarterly basis.

+ Develop the CDRLs for the customer/s.

+ Bid Vs Actuals/EACs variance analysis.

+ Development of the Annual operating plan with Finance Manager and Program Manager/s.

+ Responsible for project set ups in accordance with Awards, add on MODs.

+ Responsible for monthly variance analysis reporting.

+ Responsible for monthly invoices and provides support on contractual data requirements from the customer.

+ Responsible for preparation of financial statements and monitoring program costs and reporting for the monthly (PMR) Program Management Review.

+ Performs other duties as assigned.

+ Possesses critical thinking skills to synthesize scenarios and diverse perspectives to problem solving.

+ Demonstrated statistical and quantitative skills. Able to quickly analyze and integrate information from relevant and sometimes disparate sources.

+ Handles moderately complex issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.

+ Business/Financial Acumen:

+ Ability to multitask and prioritize, strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

+ Adapt to ever-changing environment and possess agility between tasks and projects.

+ Proficient in the use of computers and computer software programs such as Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.

+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels.

+ Capable of working under pressure and meeting deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude.

+ Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion.

Qualifications

+ Minimum Qualifications

+ Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance. One year related experience may be substitute for one year of education, if degree is required.

+ Experience

+ Four (4+) years' of Accounting/Finance experience.

+ Experience working in Defense/government contract accounting period.

+ Skills

+ Expertise in Excel and related financial applications.

+ Demonstrated ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines.
