The function of the role is supporting the Management Accounts function, with the primary responsibility being review and reduction of historical Recharge costs in the Middle East Region, providing resolution to historical costs and implementing plans for new Recharges being booked going forward.The successful candidate will have a great opportunity to be involved in a specific project with an autonomous focus which can greatly support the region. This role is a temporary position, with the opportunity for an individual to gain experience working in MNC and improving their knowledge of intercompany financial mechanisms.Principle Accountabilities:
Review historical Recharges experienced within the Middle East region.
Understand what is included within the balances of each entity and propose a solution to reducing the balances as much as possible.
Working with multiple teams including Management Accountants, Billing Team & Senior Management to develop a solution that works for all.
Develop solutions for future Recharges to prevent significant backlog in accounts.
Write a set of process notes for future use & potentially for use across the wider group.
Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
Fully AAT Qualified or Chartered Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA/CPA).
Strong Excel knowledge - Understanding complex files & ability to build new processes.
Analytical Mind shown through strong problem-solving skills.
Team Player.
Strong work ethic demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
Finance Systems Knowledge Desirable - D365/SAP/OneStream.
Knowledge of GL accounting including URNs (e.g. placement IDs, cost centres, entities)
Attention to detail to ensure delivery of accurate reports.
Able to demonstrate the ability to work independently and use own initiative.
