:Black & Grey HR is currently recruiting on behalf of a leading developer in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Our client is seeking a highly skilled Finance & Accounting Associate to join their team. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for daily transaction processing and will closely collaborate with the finance department reporting to the finance manager. Your key responsibilities will include manage day-to-day transaction processing including Accounts Payable/General Ledger responsibilities and analyzing accounts for operators and subsidiaries.- Prepare and record accounting entries, such as supplier invoices, customer transactions, employee reimbursements, travel claims, petty cash, LPO/contracts, and supporting documents.- Manage supplier payments, customer receivables, and conduct bank reconciliations.- Contribute to monthly closing activities to meet set deadlines.- Generate required financial reports as requested by the manager.- Collaborate with internal and external auditors and address their inquiries.- Calculate percentage completion of real estate development projects in accordance with IFRS 15.- Ensure understanding and compliance with company policies, IFRS, UAE laws, and regulations. Identify and report exceptions to the manager.- Participate in special finance projects and contribute to process improvement initiatives.Requirements- Over 5 years of accounting experience, including the preparation of consolidated financial statements.- Bachelors degree in accounting or a related field is required.- Prior experience in Real Estate Advisory/Consultancy and Real Estate Developer roles.- Previous experience with Big 4 statutory audits.
