Job Summary: The Field Work Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing field operations within our market research projects. This position requires an individual with a strong background in market research methodologies, who can effectively manage field teams, ensure data quality, and deliver results in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will possess excellent project management skills, the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time and deal with stress. Previous experiences in pharmaceutical and healthcare industries is a plus.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Management: - Recruit, train, and supervise field staff to ensure effective data collection. - Provide ongoing coaching and support to field team members to enhance performance and maintain high standards of data integrity. - Schedule and allocate resources efficiently to meet project timelines and objectives.
2. Project Coordination - Collaborate with research teams to understand project requirements and objectives. - Develop and implement fieldwork plans, ensuring alignment with overall project timelines and deliverables. - Monitor project progress and conduct regular check-ins with field teams to identify challenges and propose solutions.
3. **Quality Control**: - Establish and enforce data collection protocols to ensure accuracy and reliability. - Conduct regular field visits to assess team performance and adherence to established procedures. - Analyze data collected by field teams, identifying any inconsistencies or issues that arise in the field.
4. **Communication and Reporting**: - Serve as the primary point of contact for field teams, project managers, and any external stakeholders. - Provide regular updates on field operations, including challenges faced, progress made, and any necessary adjustments to strategy. - Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing findings and outcomes from field research activities.
6. **Budget Management**: - Assist in the development of fieldwork budgets and monitor expenses to ensure compliance with financial constraints. - Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining the quality and integrity of field operations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 8 years experience in market research, with a focus on field operations. - Proven experience in managing teams and overseeing field research projects. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with diverse audiences. - Proficiency in using data collection software and tools (e.g., CATI, CAWI) is preferred. - Familiarity with the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries is highly desirable. - Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
Work Conditions: - Willingness to travel as needed for field visits and project oversight. - Flexible to work outside standard hours if project demands require it.
