Whether in the areas of mobility solutions, consumer goods, industrial technology or energy and building technology with us, you will have the chance to improve quality of life all across the globe.Welcome to Bosch.As a Field Sales Engineer for Installed Sound for the brands Electro-Voice and Dynacord, reporting to the Regional Sales Director, you will work in concert with the Regional Sales Manager and be responsible for providing exceptional and proactive customer service and technical support for professional installed sound system solutions.
Create and review project designs and recommend appropriate product solutions
Create system designs for installed sound systems incl. acoustic simulations and IP based audio networking solutions incl. reports and bill of materials
Provide pre-sales training and post-sales support
Provide quality technical support to establish long-term customer relationships
Trouble-shoot hardware/software issues, resolve all technical issues
Help customers with integration and setup of equipment
Assist in driving product demand creation delivered through Professional Audio/Visual (Pro AV) network of resellers, integrators, and consultants
Prepare and conduct technical / product presentations and demonstrations
Participate in trade shows and share information on products and services
Provide feedback to marketing and product management teams for future product enhancements
Share ideas and customer needs throughout all phases of product life cycle (plan, design, integrate, manage)
Evaluate customer concerns
Qualifications
At least 5 years of technical / field sales engineering experience with a focus on installed sound projects with detailed experience in acoustic design and IP based audio networking using up-to-date design software.
Strong understanding of the Professional A/V, Installed Sound, and IT value chains.
Knowledge and understanding of AV integration services and practices.
Understanding of Installed Sound applications and projects incl. acoustics, electronics, DSP, digital audio networking and room control including serial and IP communications
Ability to read and interpret project floor plans and system flow line drawings
Deep knowledge and understanding of latest audio commissioning techniques and software
Strong ability to develop distributor, reseller, integrator, and consultant relationships through interpersonal communications.
Aggressive self-starter and results driven, ability to leverage internal resources
Strong strategic organizational, time management, problem solving, and multitasking skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal in fluent English
Additional regional MEA languages like Arabic, etc. is an advantage.
Up to 75% travel (majorly regional) required.
CTS or CTS-D Certifications or equivalent preferred.
Key AV and IT industry knowledge and experience is valued.
Existing channel and consultant relationships are valued.
