What You Will Do: Testing, Preparation, Commissioning, and Troubleshooting of Automation Equipment Conduct activities both in the workshop and in the field. Automation and Instrumentation Tasks in the GCC Region Perform echo meter shots. Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot ALS automation systems. Provide first-line troubleshooting for ALS automation products after training. Field Operations: Visit existing operations to download data and optimize processes and support other ongoing field operations as needed. Workshop Activities: Engage in inventory organization, material movement, dispatching, and receiving, Assist with inspection, repair, and maintenance of equipment. ALS Contracts Support: Respond to on-demand field service calls for ALS systems. Includes installation / de-installation, troubleshooting, inspection/monitoring. Installation, monitoring, troubleshooting, and follow-up on chemical skid deployments and trials. Support field services contracts as required.
Position Details: collaborate directly with clients on the field development of ALS strategies in emerging fields, promoting and expanding ChampionX's presence during the market growth period. Support business opportunities and growth in the GCC. The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job: Location: Based in Bahrain, with regular commuting to Saudi Arabia and other GCC countries. Potential travel to countries outside the GCC as needed. Some work is conducted indoors in air-conditioned or well-ventilated facilities. Some work will be outdoors and in remote locations within the regional environment. Visits to customer offices or field locations.
Minimum Requirements: 5 years' experience with Artificial Lift Systems, with a preference for SRP, PCP, and Plunger Lift. Automation experience is required.
Additional Requirements: Experience in wellsite automation systems. Proficiency in English, with a preference for Arabic or Spanish as a second language. Strong computer skills, including the Microsoft Office suite. Proficient technical writing skills.
Skills and Knowledge: Continuous Improvement acumen. Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present, persuade, and collaborate at the leadership level. Strong mathematical and analytical skills. Excellent negotiation skills. Superior organizational and time management abilities. In-depth knowledge of customer relationship management systems and capabilities.
Certifications: Engineering Bachelor's degree or Technical diploma
