Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Fiber Optic Site Engineer to join our dynamic team. The Fiber Optic Site Engineer will be responsible for overseeing the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fiber optic networks at various sites. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of fiber optic technology, excellent problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to work efficiently in both independent and team settings. This role requires meticulous attention to detail and the ability to effectively communicate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure project success. Key Responsibilities:

Network Installation: Lead the installation of fiber optic networks at designated sites, ensuring adherence to project specifications and timelines.
Site Surveys: Conduct thorough site surveys to assess feasibility and identify potential challenges prior to installation.
Testing and Commissioning: Perform comprehensive testing and commissioning of fiber optic systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to fiber optic networks, utilizing troubleshooting tools and techniques.
Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of network designs, installation procedures, and testing results for reference and future maintenance.
Quality Assurance: Implement quality control measures to uphold industry standards and customer requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including project managers, technicians, and subcontractors to coordinate project activities and achieve objectives.
Client Communication: Interface with clients to provide project updates, address concerns, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to promote a safe working environment for all personnel involved in fiber optic installations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor\'s degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field.
Proven experience in fiber optic network installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
Proficiency in fiber optic splicing, termination, and fusion splicing techniques.
Strong understanding of optical fiber characteristics, transmission principles, and industry standards (e.g., ITU-T, IEEE, TIA).
Familiarity with fiber optic testing equipment such as OTDRs, power meters, and light sources.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams and clients.
Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality assurance.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Certifications such as Certified Fiber Optic Technician (CFOT) or equivalent are advantageous.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
