The Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring the highest standards of hygiene, safety, and hospitality are maintained throughout the hotel. This role involves monitoring and improving the quality of services, overseeing compliance with regulatory requirements, and ensuring guest satisfaction through consistent service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Hygiene & Sanitation Management:
Ensure compliance with hygiene standards, food safety regulations, and cleanliness protocols across all hotel departments.
Regularly audit and inspect all areas of the hotel, including guest rooms, kitchens, restaurants, and public areas to ensure cleanliness and safety.
Develop, implement, and monitor hygiene and sanitation procedures to guarantee compliance with national and international standards.
Health & Safety Compliance:
Oversee the implementation and adherence to workplace safety protocols in line with local and international safety standards.
Conduct safety training for staff, ensuring they are aware of emergency procedures, equipment usage, and hazard prevention.
Organize regular fire drills and safety checks, ensuring the hotel is fully prepared for emergencies.
Maintain safety records and assist with safety inspections by regulatory authorities.
Hospitality Standards & Guest Experience:
Monitor the delivery of consistent, high-quality service across all guest touchpoints, ensuring the highest level of hospitality and guest satisfaction.
Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery, based on feedback from guests, audits, and mystery shoppers.
Conduct regular service audits, including front desk, F&B, and housekeeping services, to ensure compliance with hospitality standards.
Lead efforts to enhance the guest experience, from check-in to check-out.
Staff Training & Development:
Organize and conduct training sessions on hygiene, safety, and hospitality standards for hotel staff across all departments.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement and high performance within the hotel team.
Evaluate staff performance, offering feedback and guidance to improve service quality.
Quality Audits & Reporting:
Perform regular internal audits to assess compliance with hygiene, safety, and hospitality standards.
Prepare detailed reports on quality assurance findings and suggest corrective actions where necessary.
Ensure the hotel meets all legal and corporate quality standards, including health regulations, environmental concerns, and service excellence.
Guest Feedback & Satisfaction:
Monitor guest reviews, complaints, and feedback to identify areas for improvement.
Resolve any quality-related guest issues promptly, ensuring guest satisfaction and brand loyalty.
Implement action plans based on guest feedback to improve the overall quality of services.
Regulatory Compliance & Documentation:
Ensure that all hotel activities comply with local health and safety laws, environmental guidelines, and hospitality regulations.
Keep accurate records of inspections, audits, guest complaints, and corrective actions.
Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in quality management or a similar role within the hospitality industry, ideally in a 5-star hotel.
Strong knowledge of hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards in the hospitality industry.
Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations and emergency procedures.
Demonstrated ability to maintain high hospitality standards and deliver exceptional guest service.
Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality results.
Ability to conduct audits, analyze data, and prepare detailed reports.
Proficiency in hotel management software and MS Office Suite.
