Contract length: 24 months Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
- Prepare a diverse range of baked goods such as cakes, cookies, pies, and bread, using both traditional and modern recipes.
- Innovate and create new desserts to refresh our menu and captivate our customers.
- Decorate pastries with various icings and toppings to ensure a beautiful and enticing presentation.
- Monitor inventory for baking ingredients like flour and sugar, and place orders within budget.
- Ensure the quality of ingredients and the condition of cooking equipment.
- Guide and motivate pastry assistants and bakers to improve efficiency.
- Assist in identifying staffing needs, recruiting, and training personnel.
- Maintain an organized and clean cooking station while adhering to health and safety standards.
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, baker, or in a related role.
- Exceptional attention to detail and creativity.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Commitment to continuous professional development.
- In-depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation, baking techniques, and nutrition.
- Experience baking with ingredient limitations (e.g., gluten-free, sugar-free pastries).
- Certification in culinary arts, pastry-making, baking, or a relevant field.
