The Inventory Assistant will be responsible for maintaining the supply and demand of inventory and ensuring that there are adequate stocks available.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain an exact inventory of stock, through undertaking a range of stock control measures in order to ensure that stock is effectively controlled, discrepancies are minimized, and damaged stock is reported to
Warehouse (with documentation).
Place Request for transfer of Goods (RTG) on a weekly basis and receiving them, review documentation and monitor product codes to search for discrepancies as well as conduct daily back barring and inspection on expired products in the stock and the shop.
Ensure regulation of in?stock level complies with inventory parameters as well as conduct inspection of expired products and notify the manager for further actions.
Reconcile product pricing amount with the amount mentioned in the system and keep the Spa manager informed about new received launched items.
Periodically inspects all guest areas, such as front desk, treatment and pre?treatment areas to ensure they are kept clean and organized.
Perform Machines testing and checks and notify the maintenance team of any maintenance issues.
Supervise and report any incident that contradicts with the Shop SOP's, ethics and Ensure adherence to quality improvement or corrective action plans.
Generate concise and informative management reports and Perform routine clerical duties, including data entry.
Report and manage aging products and ensure using FIFO/ LIFO methods.
Follow up on products movements within departments and monitor the discontinued items.
Conduct checks of back bars on daily basis and proper labelling, reconcile stock on?Hand count with Dolphin reports.
Coordinate with the warehouse successively to maintain a consistent record of stock management systems by highlighting and resolving any inaccuracies and errors.
Manage the placing of orders and ensure requested goods are delivered on time.
Supervise the unpacking or stocking of shelves, as well as the standard of merchandising to ensure appropriate presentation and undamaged stock.
Responsible for replenishing and ordering stocks as approved by the Manager.
Manage the returns, transfers and receivables processes effectively, including setting up and maintaining a temporary holding area for returns and transfers, identifying any patterns of returns and using this information to make recommendations for improvement.
Coordinate and participate in regular and annual inventory audits and Keep updated inventory records.
Maintain a well?organized and clean stock room.
Maintain good working relationship among co?workers and the Spa manager and cooperate with the
Warehouse for inventory reports.
Comply with SOP's and Occupational health and Safety requirements.
Qualifications
Diploma or bachelor's degree in business or any relevant subject.
Min. 2 years' experience in inventory and operational position in relevant industry.
Microsoft Office, Dolphin, Zenoti and SAP experience or similar IT software.
Fluent in English.
