Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Gym Manager to lead our team and ensure the smooth operation of our fitness facility. In this role, you will be responsible for all aspects of the gym, from staff development and member satisfaction to budget management and marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Leadership and Team Management:
• Oversee daily gym operations, including staff scheduling, performance reviews, and training.
• Foster a positive and productive work environment for all staff members.
• Ensure excellent customer service is provided to all gym members.
• Member Engagement and Sales:
• Develop and implement strategies to attract new members and retain existing ones.
• Oversee the membership sales process and set achievable sales goals.
• Address member concerns and complaints promptly and professionally.
• Facility Management and Operations:
• Maintain a clean, safe, and inviting gym environment.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to ensure proper functioning and adherence to safety regulations.
• Manage inventory control and oversee equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Business and Finance:
• Develop and manage the gym's budget.
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and analyze data to inform strategic decision-making.
• Prepare financial reports and maintain accurate records.
• Marketing and Promotions:
• Develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote the gym and its services.
• Manage the gym's social media presence and online reputation.
• Stay up-to-date on fitness trends and implement new programs and classes to meet member needs.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the fitness industry, preferably in a gym management role.
• Proven track record of success in achieving sales goals and member retention.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and gym management software (a plus).
• Current CPR/AED certification preferred.
• Passion for fitness and a strong understanding of current fitness trends.
