Job Title: Dermatology Nurse with DHA License

Location: Jumeirah 3, Dubai-UAE

Department: Dermatology

Reports To: Dermatology Department Head

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced dermatology nurse to join our team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in dermatology nursing and a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care. The dermatology nurse will assist in the diagnosis and treatment of skin conditions, educate patients on skincare, and support the dermatology team in clinical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patient Care:
• Assist dermatologists/plastic surgeons/beauty therapist and laser technicians in performing skin examinations and treatments.
• Provide patient care before, during, and after dermatological procedures.
• Monitor patient recovery and manage any complications that may arise.
• Clinical Procedures:
• Prepare and maintain equipment and instruments used in dermatological procedures.
• Assist with minor surgical procedures, biopsies, cryotherapy, laser treatments, and other dermatological interventions.
• Administer medications, including topical treatments and injections, as prescribed by the dermatologist.
• Patient Education:
• Educate patients on skincare routines, treatment plans, and preventative measures.
• Provide information on post-treatment care and follow-up appointments.
• Address patient concerns and questions regarding their skin conditions and treatments.
• Administrative Duties:
• Document patient history, treatment plans, and progress notes accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Schedule and coordinate patient appointments and follow-ups.
• Maintain inventory of medical supplies and ensure the dermatology clinic is well-stocked and organized.
• Collaboration:
• Work collaboratively with dermatologists, medical assistants, and other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and continuing education opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Education:
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited institution.
• Current nursing license in the UAE (or eligibility to obtain one).
• Experience:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a nurse in a dermatology setting.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in using dermatological equipment and performing dermatological procedures.
• Familiarity with EHR systems and basic computer skills.
• Language Skills:
• Fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.

• Attention to detail and ability to multitask.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Working Conditions:

• Full-time position with standard clinic hours.
