- Prepare and serve a wide range of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, specialty drinks, and smoothies, adhering to quality and recipe standards.
- Welcome customers warmly, take orders accurately, and provide recommendations based on individual preferences, ensuring an excellent customer experience.
- Operate coffee-making equipment proficiently, maintaining cleanliness and efficiency in all tasks.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately, following established procedures for payment processing.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including stocking supplies, cleaning equipment, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner, addressing inquiries, feedback, and concerns with empathy and efficiency.
- Display a genuine love for cats and provide care and attention to any companion animals at the cafe.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and uphold service standards, contributing to a positive work environment.
- Uphold food safety and hygiene regulations at all times, including proper food handling and storage practices.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance beverage-making skills and customer service proficiency.
- Previous experience as a barista in a fast-paced caf\xc3\xa9 or coffee shop setting.
- Strong knowledge of coffee and tea preparation techniques, including espresso extraction, milk steaming, and latte art.
- Demonstrated experience in customer service, with a focus on delivering exceptional experiences and building rapport with customers.
- Genuine love for animals and experience in caring for pets, with a compassionate and responsible approach to animal welfare.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact positively with customers and colleagues.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a dynamic environment.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the UAE.
- Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
- Barista: 2 years (Required)
