Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated Pharmacist with a DHA License to join our team who can join immediately. The successful candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing medication counseling to patients, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and contributing to the overall success of our pharmacy operations.
Responsibilities:
• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently according to prescriptions provided by licensed healthcare practitioners.
• Provide medication counseling and education to patients regarding proper usage, dosage, side effects, and storage of medications.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all prescriptions dispensed and patient information in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses, to ensure safe and effective medication therapy management.
• Monitor medication inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain adequate stock levels.
• Verify prescriptions for accuracy and legality, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Assist in the development and implementation of pharmacy policies and procedures to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality patient care.
• Provide assistance and guidance to pharmacy technicians and support staff as needed.
• Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to stay updated on the latest developments in pharmacy practice and regulations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in accordance with pharmacy standards and guidelines.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) from a recognized institution.
• Valid DHA License to practice pharmacy in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working as a licensed pharmacist in a healthcare setting, preferably in a retail or hospital pharmacy.
• Strong knowledge of pharmacology, medication therapy management, and pharmaceutical regulations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficiency in computer skills and familiarity with pharmacy management software.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in pharmacy practice.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to AED5,000.00 per month
