This position will interact directly with the Owner.
Participates in the preparation of various financial statements and reports.
Reconciles general and subsidiary bank accounts by gathering and balancing information.
Financial reporting and budgeting
Reviews financial statements with management
Directs the installation and maintenance of new accounting, payroll, VAT statements and other related procedures and controls.
Qualification and Skills:
• Bachelors / Masters preferably in Finance (any other bachelors' degree will also considered)
• Experience: At least 2-3 years relevant experience.
• Must possess excellent communication skills - Written & Verbal (English)
• Proficient in MS Office (Advanced MS Excel skills) and possess good computer skills.
• Good with email drafting.
• An excellent team player and able to work well under pressure.
• Possess good Time Management and Multi-Tasking skills.
• Should have sound knowledge of Tally Software / Quickbooks.
• Manage all accounting transactions.
• Maintain day to day accounting activity in bank and cash records.
• Maintain payables and receivables and follow up on payments.
• Knowledge of VAT and Tax matters.
• Prepare payroll and manage petty cash.
• Correspondence with Local and International service providers, banks and Customers with respect to receivable and payable.
• Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements.
• Prepare invoices and statements.
• Experience with general ledger functions
• Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
