We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Female Accountant with a strong background in the construction industry to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing financial operations within a construction company, ensuring precise financial record-keeping, and providing valuable insights to support the company's financial health and strategic decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all accounting transactions specific to the construction industry, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
• Oversee job costing, project financial tracking, and reconciliation of construction-related accounts.
• Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Assist in the development and monitoring of project budgets and forecasts.
• Conduct thorough analyses of financial data, particularly related to construction projects, and provide insights to support management decisions.
• Ensure strict compliance with accounting principles, industry standards, and local regulations.
• Assist with internal and external audits, as well as tax filings, particularly those related to construction activities.
• Collaborate closely with project managers and other departments to align financial objectives with overall business goals.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Proven work experience as an Accountant within the construction industry or a similar role.
• Advanced proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel, with a focus on construction-specific software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage 300 Construction and Real Estate).
• Strong attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy in job costing and financial reporting.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills, particularly in a project-based environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including project managers and external auditors

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED2,300.00 per month
