Job Description

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented female individual to join our team as a General Accountant. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and familiarity with accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), bookkeeping, VAT filing and Returns, Corporate Tax Filing, financial reporting, balance sheets, profit and loss (P&L), Cash Flow statements.

Qualifications

• Minimum bachelor's degree in accounting or related field with 2-3 years of Accounting Experience in UAE
• Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals
• Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

Responsibilities

• Recording Accounting Transactions/bookkeeping.
• Assets Management / Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable / Bank Reconciliation / Project Management etc.
• Process employee payroll accurately and timely, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Preparing Financial statements
• Familiarity with VAT (Value Added Tax) regulations and experience in preparing and filing VAT returns in compliance with local tax laws.
• Experience in Corporate Tax Filing.
• Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, ZOHO or industry.
• Proficiency in MS Office, with exceptional knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
• Assist with internal and external audits by providing documentation, explanations, and support as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED3,000.00 per month
