Position Title: Food and Beverage (F&B) Manager

Reports To: F& B Head/Director of Operations
Location: Dubai Sports City
Position Overview:
The Food and Beverage (F&B) Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the food and beverage department. This role ensures the highest standards of quality, service, and profitability while achieving a high level of guest satisfaction. The F&B Manager leads, trains and motivates the F&B team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
Operational Management:
• Oversee all F&B operations including restaurants, bars, catering and room service.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and sanitation regulations.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed.
• Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the F&B department.
Guest Experience:
• Ensure the highest quality of food and beverage service.
• Address guest complaints and resolve issues promptly.
• Develop and implement guest service initiatives to enhance the customer experience.
Financial Management:
• Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts and financial reports.
• Control costs and optimize profitability.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Team Leadership:
• Train and develop F&B staff.
• Conduct performance appraisals and provide constructive feedback.
• Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
Menu Development:
• Collaborate with chefs and kitchen staff to develop menus.
• Ensure menu items meet quality and presentation standards.
• Monitor industry trends and incorporate innovative ideas into menu offerings.
Marketing and Promotion:
• Develop and implement F&B marketing strategies.
• Organize and promote special events, promotions and offers.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and partners.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Proven experience as an F&B Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry.
• Strong understanding of F&B operations, financial management and customer service.
• Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office and F&B management software.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
Work Environment:
• This position may require working nights, weekends and holidays.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights.
