Job Title: F&B Hostess

Reports To: F&B Manager / Restaurant Manager
Job Summary: The F&B Hostess is responsible for creating a welcoming environment for guests as they arrive at the restaurant or dining area. This role involves greeting guests, managing reservations, seating guests, and ensuring that all guests receive exceptional service from the moment they arrive until they leave.
Key Responsibilities:
• Greet guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner upon arrival.
• Escort guests to their tables, ensuring proper seating arrangements based on availability and reservations.
• Manage reservations, including confirming, modifying, and updating them as necessary.
• Maintain a neat and organized host/hostess station, including the reservation book and waiting area.
• Answer phone calls, provide information on the menu, and assist guests with inquiries.
• Collaborate with the F&B team to ensure that all guest requests are handled promptly and efficiently.
• Monitor the dining area for guest satisfaction and report any issues or feedback to the management team.
• Ensure that tables are clean, and the restaurant is visually appealing and ready for service.
• Assist with handling guest complaints or concerns, ensuring they are addressed and resolved appropriately.
• Maintain knowledge of the menu and current promotions, and be able to answer guest questions about food and beverages.
• Provide guests with a menu and inform them of daily specials or promotions.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness in dining areas, including clearing and resetting tables as needed.
• Support the team with any additional tasks as required, including assisting servers during peak periods.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Previous experience in a similar position in the hospitality industry is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
• Basic knowledge of food and beverage offerings.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
Working Conditions:
• Fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Occasional lifting of items such as menus, guest materials, etc.
