The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong communication skills, and a commitment to ensuring guest satisfaction.
Greet and welcome guests in a warm and friendly manner.
Take guest orders accurately and provide menu recommendations when requested.
Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously.
Attend to guest needs and ensure a positive dining experience.
Set up and prepare dining areas for service, including arranging tables, setting linens, and ensuring cleanliness.
Ensure all food and beverages are served according to established standards and presentation guidelines.
Assist in the preparation and serving of room service orders.
Assist with the setup, service, and breakdown of hotel events and functions.
Coordinate with the event planning team to ensure smooth execution of events.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, service stations, and equipment.
Follow health and safety regulations and hotel policies for food handling and sanitation.
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate department.
Upsell additional items such as appetizers, desserts, and beverages to enhance guest experience and increase sales.
Inform guests about special promotions, menu changes, and new items.
Work closely with kitchen staff, bartenders, and other F&B associates to ensure efficient service.
Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving service and operations.
Assist in training new associates and sharing knowledge about food and beverage offerings.
Desired Skill & Expertise
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a food and beverage role is preferred.
Knowledge of food and beverage service standards is an advantage.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Basic math skills for handling transactions.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
Must be available to work flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
