Role

The Fashion Designer is responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing clothing/uniforms, that align with current market trends and brand aesthetics. This individual plays a pivotal role in bringing innovative and stylish products.

Duties and responsibilities

• Develop creative and original design concepts .
• Create mood boards, inspirations, and design presentations to communicate ideas .
• Research and select appropriate fabrics, trims, and materials for each design.
• Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to source high-quality materials within budget constraints.

Translate design concepts into accurate and well-constructed patterns.

• Provide clear and detailed instructions to ensure the accurate execution of patterns.
• Oversee the creation of prototypes and samples, ensuring they align with the design vision.
• Work closely with pattern makers and sample makers to address any design-related issues during the prototyping phase.
• Stay informed about current fashion trends, consumer preferences, and competitor products.
• Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and incorporate them into design concepts.
• Prepare detailed design specifications, including measurements, construction details, and material requirements.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production manager, sample makers, and marketing teams.
• Effectively communicate design ideas and collaborate on the development of cohesive collections.
• Present design concepts to internal stakeholders and management for feedback and approval.

• Create visual presentations for product launches and sales meetings.
• Any other relevant task as per job requirements

Qualifications and Required

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, or a related field.
• Proven experience of around 3-5 years as a Fashion Designer or assistant designer.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, cloud, illustrator photoshop, InDesign
• Strong understanding of garment construction, textiles, and manufacturing processes.
• Creativity and a keen eye for detail.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Ability to travel to showcase our designs if needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From AED3,500.00 per month
