Job Title: Fashion Designer

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Job Type: Full-time / Part-time

Working Hours: 10 AM - 7 PM

Starting Date: September 5th

Company Overview: Join our innovative clothing brand in Abu Dhabi. We are seeking a talented Fashion Designer with a deep understanding of local design sensibilities to join our creative team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Creativity:
• Create innovative designs that incorporate UAE cultural elements and appeal to local tastes (Evening Gowns, Travel Wear, Casual clothing).
• Develop sketches and create sample models for a range of garments, including gowns and traditional attire.
• Utilize relevant software to produce digital designs and presentations.
• Sample Production & Quality Control:
• Oversee the production of samples, ensuring high-quality standards and attention to detail.
• Manage the workflow of the design team and production staff to meet deadlines and maintain efficiency.
• Conduct quality checks to ensure that finished products align with design specifications and brand aesthetics.
• Pattern Making & Fabric Selection:
• Develop precise patterns for various clothing items, ensuring accurate sizing and fit.
• Select fabrics, colors, and trims that enhance the design while considering cost and availability.
• Stay updated with the latest fashion trends and incorporate them into the design process.
• Collaboration & Communication:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and production, to ensure cohesive product development.
• Communicate effectively with suppliers and manufacturers to ensure timely delivery and production of garments.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Fashion Designer, preferably with a focus on UAE local design and cultural elements (Evening Gowns, Travel Wear, Casual clothing).
• Strong drawing and sketching skills, with the ability to translate ideas into tangible designs.
• Excellent pattern-making skills and knowledge of garment construction.
• Strong sense of color matching and aesthetic design principles.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work efficiently under pressure.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
