Major Duties and Responsibilities: \xc2\xa7 Directly manage all activities related to plant transplanting, plant growth, nutritional formulation optimization, nutritional deficiencies detection, disease detection, insect infestation detection, climate management, plants trimming, plants cleaning, plants and greenhouses inspection, plants pollination, plants harvesting, etc. \xc2\xa7 Manage all Integrated Pest Management activities. \xc2\xa7 Manage and lead the farm teams to ensure daily tasks and production targets are met. \xc2\xa7 Manage the efficiency and effectiveness of all relevant functions and activities to ensure that Badia Farms\xe2\x80\x99 operations (Nursery, Propagation, and Harvest) are operating effectively to produce the high premium crop and are in adherence with established policies & procedures. \xc2\xa7 Ensure the farm is meeting the production goals, objectives, guidelines, plans, and budgets set. \xc2\xa7 Establish formal and informal communication lines across the different departments and personnel at Badia Farms for prompt identification and resolution of issues and obstacles that impede the operational efficiency. \xc2\xa7 Ensure production is running at optimal capacity. \xc2\xa7 Mitigate risks associated with the operation and anticipate any issues or incidents to ensure production lines are running optimally. Qualifications \xc3\x98 Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Horticulture or related Agricultural field \xc3\x98 Minimum of 10 years in Horticulture / Agriculture industry experience \xc3\x98 Direct Experience in Strawberry hydroponic growing (5+ years). \xc3\x98 Direct Experience in growing in greenhouses \xc3\x98 Experience in growing other berry products is a plus (Blueberry, Raspberry, Blackberry) \xc3\x98 Proficiency in the English language (Arabic language is a plus) Job Type: Full-time Job Type: Full-time
