Job Description

Objectives of the role:

The Farm Housekeeping Head is responsible for overseeing and managing the overall cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation of the farm, office spaces and staff accommodations, with a primary focus on animal care. This role ensures that all animals are kept in a clean and healthy environment, following strict hygiene protocols to promote their well-being. The Head will also oversee other housekeeping duties related to the farm, including maintaining facilities and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Will lead and work with housekeeping staff, coordinate cleaning schedules and handle necessary administrative and operational tasks

Working Condition:

a. Primarily outdoor work in a farm environment, with exposure to varying weather conditions.

b. Regular interaction with animals, which may involve exposure to animal waste and cleaning chemicals.

c. The role may require working early mornings, weekends, and holidays depending on the needs of the farm.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience

. Qualification:

A High School diploma or certification in housekeeping, sanitation, or a related field. (e.g. Certified House Keeping Manager, Certified Executive Housekeeper, OSHA (ISO 45001:2018) or EPA certification or similar).

Certification in farm management, animal husbandry, ISO 22000:2018 (Food Safety Management System), particularly related to farm or agricultural environments or a related field will be advantageous.

. Experience

1. At least 8 years of experience in farm operations, with a focus on animal care, cleaning, and hygiene in East European / Western countries.

2. Proven experience in a supervisory or management role, overseeing a team of workers in a farm or similar setting.

3. Experience in managing the housekeeping or sanitation of large-scale farms or agricultural operations or similar environment.
