1- Research new wholesale food suppliers and negotiate prices
2- Calculate future needs in kitchenware and equipment and place orders, as needed
3- Manage and store vendors’ contracts and invoices
4- Coordinate communication between front of the house and back of the house staff
5- Prepare shift schedules
6- Process payroll for all restaurant staff
7- Supervise kitchen and wait staff and provide assistance, as needed
8- Keep detailed records of daily, weekly and monthly costs and revenues
9- Arrange for new employees’ proper onboarding (scheduling trainings and ordering uniforms)
10- Monitor compliance with safety and hygiene regulations
11- Gather guests’ feedback and recommend improvements to our menus
Skills, Experience and Qualification:
1- Work experience as a Restaurant Assistant Manager or similar role in the hospitality industry
2- Familiarity with restaurant management software, like penTable and PeachWorks
3- Good math and reporting skills
4- Customer service attitude
5- Communication and team management abilities
6- Availability to work within opening hours (e.g. evenings, holidays, weekends)
7- High school diploma; additional certification in hospitality is a plus
