Job Description

:

We are seeking a Factory Manager to take charge of our joinery production facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing management, with expertise in joinery, woodworking, and team leadership. This role involves overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring the production of high-quality products, optimizing workflow, managing resources, and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities :

• Production Management: Oversee the entire production process within the joinery factory, ensuring timely and quality delivery of projects.
• Team Leadership: Manage, motivate, and lead a team of skilled workers, including joiners, machine operators, and other staff.
• Quality Control: Ensure all products meet the company's high standards and client specifications. Implement quality assurance procedures.
• Resource Management: Monitor and manage resources, including materials, machinery, and workforce to optimize production efficiency.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure the factory adheres to health and safety regulations. Conduct regular safety inspections and training sessions.
• Inventory Control: Oversee inventory management of raw materials, tools, and finished products, ensuring stock levels are maintained and waste is minimized.
• Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve production processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality.
• Reporting: Provide regular updates to senior management regarding production progress, challenges, and performance metrics.

Qualifications :

• Proven experience as a Factory Manager or similar role in a joinery or woodworking environment.
• Strong knowledge of joinery processes, machinery, and techniques.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in using production management software and other tools to track and manage operations.
• A degree or certification in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field (preferred but not required).
