We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facility Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our building services and maintenance division. The Facility Manager will be responsible for managing a team of technicians and support staff, coordinating maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
Responsibilities:
Team Management:
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of maintenance technicians, janitorial staff, and other personnel.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide ongoing training and development opportunities.
Maintenance Planning and Execution:
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure the ongoing functionality of building systems and equipment.
• Coordinate with clients to schedule maintenance activities and minimize disruption to their operations.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies, prioritizing tasks based on urgency and impact on operations.
Budgeting and Cost Control:
• Prepare and manage departmental budgets, ensuring that expenses are within allocated limits.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements without compromising service quality.
• Monitor expenditures, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions as needed.
Compliance and Safety:
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, building codes, and safety standards.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and address safety concerns promptly.
Client Relationship Management:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining positive relationships.
• Proactively identify opportunities for upselling additional services and solutions to enhance client value.
Vendor Management:
• Coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and suppliers to procure necessary materials and services.
• Negotiate contracts, review proposals, and ensure that vendors adhere to established quality and performance standards.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in facility management, building services, or property maintenance.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve common goals.
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
• Solid understanding of building systems, mechanical/electrical systems, and maintenance best practices.
• Proficiency in computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and other relevant software applications.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, employees, and stakeholders at all levels.
• Knowledge of relevant regulations, codes, and standards governing facility management and safety practices.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED16,000.00 per month
