Job Description

As a Facility Management Engineer specializing in Maintenance and Operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper functioning, safety, and reliability of all systems within the facilities under your management. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, vendors, contractors, and technicians to execute effective maintenance strategies, address issues promptly, and enhance the overall operational efficiency of the facilities.

Responsibilities :

Maintenance Strategy Development : Develop comprehensive maintenance plans and strategies for all systems and equipment within the facilities, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety, and other critical infrastructure.

Scheduled Maintenance : Organize and oversee regular preventive maintenance activities to ensure that equipment and systems are in optimal working condition. Create maintenance schedules, coordinate tasks, and allocate resources efficiently.

Unscheduled Maintenance : Respond promptly to unexpected breakdowns or malfunctions. Coordinate with maintenance teams to diagnose issues, implement repairs, and minimize downtime.

Vendor and Contractor Coordination : Collaborate with external vendors, suppliers, and contractors to ensure timely execution of maintenance tasks, repairs, and upgrades. Evaluate vendor performance and ensure adherence to contractual agreements.

Equipment Monitoring : Implement monitoring systems and procedures to track the performance of critical equipment. Analyze data to identify potential issues and take proactive measures to prevent failures.

Emergency Response : Develop and communicate emergency response protocols to address critical situations swiftly and effectively. Ensure that employees and stakeholders are aware of emergency procedures.

Budget Management : Assist in preparing maintenance budgets, monitor expenses, and optimize resource allocation to achieve cost-effective maintenance practices.

Health and Safety Compliance : Ensure that maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and industry standards. Conduct safety inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential risks.

Documentation and Reporting : Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment histories. Generate regular reports to track performance, maintenance costs, and improvements.

Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities to enhance maintenance processes and procedures. Implement best practices to improve efficiency, reduce downtime, and increase the lifespan of equipment.

Technical Expertise : Stay updated on the latest advancements in facility management technology and industry trends. Apply technical knowledge to troubleshoot complex issues and recommend effective solutions.

Qualifications and Skills :

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
• Proven experience in facility management, maintenance, or related roles in UAE For 1 to 2 years
• Strong knowledge of building systems, equipment, and maintenance protocols.
• Familiarity with relevant regulations and safety standards.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills in .
• Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
