Aventi Industries is a well-established manufacturer of FMCG Food and Beverage products. Our plant at Dubai manufactures a range of condiments and sauces, specialty beverages, and powder foods.

We are looking for a Facilities Engineer to join our team in Dubai, UAE. As a Facilities Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the physical infrastructure of our company.

This includes overseeing the operation and maintenance of facilities, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and managing facility improvement projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive facility management program, including preventive maintenance schedules and procedures.
• Ensure that all facilities are operating efficiently and in compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
• Coordinate and oversee maintenance and repair activities, including HVAC systems, electrical systems, plumbing, and general building maintenance.
• Manage facility improvement projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and contractor selection.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and address any issues or potential hazards.
• Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their facility needs and provide solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of facility maintenance, repairs, and expenses.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in facility management.
• Manage and supervise a team of facility maintenance staff.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field.
• 3-5 years of proven experience in facility management, preferably in a similar industry.
• Strong knowledge of building systems and maintenance procedures.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Experience managing facility improvement projects and working with contractors.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Proficient in using facility management software and tools.
• Ability to effectively manage and supervise a team.
