Position Title : Facility Management Assistant

Position Overview :
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Facility Management Assistant with strong knowledge in MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems and maintenance to join our team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will assist in the day-to-day operations of facility maintenance, ensuring the efficient operation and upkeep of the building's systems, equipment, and infrastructure. You will work closely with the Facility Manager and other team members to ensure that all facilities are properly maintained and meet the required standards.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assist in the management of the day-to-day operations of the facility, including general maintenance and building operations.
• Monitor and maintain MEP systems (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Perform routine inspections of the facility to ensure that all equipment and infrastructure are operating efficiently and safely.
• Coordinate and supervise preventive maintenance schedules for all MEP systems and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any maintenance issues related to MEP systems and facilities, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Assist with the preparation of maintenance reports, identifying areas that require improvement or upgrades.
• Liaise with external contractors and vendors for repair, maintenance, and servicing of equipment and systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations, including conducting safety audits and ensuring staff are trained in safety protocols.
• Manage inventory and ensure that necessary materials and spare parts for MEP systems are available.
• Assist in overseeing facility cleaning, security, and overall building management services.
• Provide support in managing energy consumption and implement sustainability practices within the facility.
• Respond to emergency situations, including system failures, leaks, or electrical issues, and coordinate immediate repairs.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to maintenance schedules, inspections, and repairs.

Qualifications :

• Diploma or degree in Facility Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in facility management or maintenance, with a focus on MEP systems.
• Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to MEP systems and building maintenance.
• Good understanding of safety regulations and procedures related to building management and maintenance.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with contractors, staff, and vendors.
• Proficiency in using maintenance management software or systems is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, managing multiple tasks efficiently.
• Knowledge of building automation systems (BMS) and energy management systems is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
