We are looking for motivated, customer-focused people who want to join our team as a Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician. The focus of the Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician role is to ensure safety regulations and policies are adhered to, to ensure preventative maintenance is conducted on time to a high standard and to provide high levels of equipment availability through continuous improvement.Shift Pattern: This role includes working in non-traditional shift pattern, which may include nights and weekendsKey job responsibilities
\xc2\xb7 Promote Safe working practices in all work carried out ensuring compliance with amazon safety standards and regulations.
\xc2\xb7 Carry out planned preventative maintenance on the full range of equipment within the site.
\xc2\xb7 React quickly to breakdowns, communicate clearly with affected parties and work efficiently to fix the issue.
\xc2\xb7 Promote continuous improvement culture by analyzing breakdowns and propose changes and suggestions for better performance to the line manager.
\xc2\xb7 Ensure high levels of equipment availability/reliability to operations team
\xc2\xb7 Manage the contractors and ensures adherence to amazon standards within the site premises .
. Monitor daily site utilities and sustainability performance and provide cause of change for any undesired results
. Observe house keeping and cleaning practices and ensure providing the highest level of janitorial services
. Daily respond to maintenance work orders and provide relevant response to RME customers and arrange needed resources to perform the task
. Perform spare parts regular survey to detect any gap and inform line manager and RME planner with the needed spares
. Provide On job Training to RME technicians and develop their skills matrix to ensure that they have the right level of competency to perform the tasksA day in the life
Daily Monitor and respond to RME customers requests through trouble ticketing system and always show customer obsession behavior.
Plan the annual maintenance contracts vendor activities within the shift and prepare for upcoming shiftsBASIC QUALIFICATIONS. Electrical or Mechanical Degree from reputable University
\xc2\xb7 Multi skilled in both electrical and mechanical disciplines.
. Experience in dealing with reputable CMMS (computerized maintenance management system)
\xc2\xb7 Experience of planned preventative maintenance systems.
\xc2\xb7 Experience fault finding within MHE (Material Handling Equipment) / Automation systems.
. Experience in leading team of Technicians
\xc2\xb7 Experience in interpreting both mechanical and electrical drawings.
\xc2\xb7 Experience of conveyor maintenance, motor controllers/invertersPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS. Experience of high voltage switching
. Experience of sortation machines
. Experience in Auto-CAD drawing
. Experience of maintaining/configuring bar code scanners
. Experience of print and apply machines (slams)
