SynopsisThe purpose of a Facilities Officer with these responsibilities is to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of commercial and corporate office environments by overseeing a variety of functions related to workspace management, project execution, and health and safety compliance. This role involves supervising the churn process, which ensures timely office relocations and reconfigurations, as well as conducting cost analysis and breakdowns for small projects to maintain budget control. The Facilities Officer is responsible for drafting detailed scopes of work for projects, producing accurate estimates in line with quantity surveying, and utilizing AutoCAD 2D design skills to create layout plans.Additionally, the Facilities Officer is tasked with managing furniture stock, ensuring that workspace assets are maintained and readily available. They play a key role by ensuring adherence to fire life safety codes, building regulations, and industry best practices. This includes capturing safety reports, risk assessments, and method statements on the Intelex platform.The officer also tracks and reports monthly environmental data, such as utility consumption across all portfolios, and provides insights into desk usage to improve space optimization. They provide ongoing support for other facilities-related operations and ensure the workspace meets the needs of employees and the business while promoting a safe, sustainable, and efficient environment.Accountabilities

Education & Experience
Must have at 3-5 years' experience in a Facilities Officer Role or Similar, additionally he must be Familiar with the building regulations and standards for best practice. The Facilities Officer must have the knowledge and skill set on Autocad drawing for 2D drawings the knowledge of 3D design will be beneficial. The below skills are required.
Bachelor's degree
Technical skills: Knowledge of building systems and equipment, familiarity with maintenance and repair procedures, understanding of safety regulations.
Communication skills: Ability to effectively communicate with tenants, contractors, and other stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
Problem-solving skills: Capacity to identify and resolve issues related to building maintenance, safety, and operations.
