Full job description Job Summary: The Facility Manager with UAE experience is responsible for overseeing the management, maintenancewithin the organization. Leveraging military experience, the Facility Manager ensures efficient and effective operations, safety, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Key Responsibilities:
- Facility Management:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of all facilities, ensuring they are safe, secure, and well-maintained.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure the facilities are kept in optimal condition.
- Manage the allocation and use of space and resources within the facilities.
- Maintenance and Repairs:
- Supervise maintenance staff and contractors to ensure timely and quality repairs and maintenance work.
- Oversee the procurement and inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and building codes.
- Operational Efficiency:
- Implement processes and systems to improve efficiency and reduce costs related to facility operations.
- Monitor energy usage and implement strategies to improve energy efficiency.
- Prepare and manage the facility budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources.
- Emergency Preparedness:
- Develop and implement emergency response plans and conduct regular drills and training sessions.
- Ensure all emergency systems and equipment are regularly inspected and maintained.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure a cohesive emergency response strategy.
- Vendor and Contract Management:
- Manage relationships with vendors and service providers, ensuring quality service and adherence to contracts.
- Negotiate contracts for services such as cleaning, maintenance, and security.
- Reporting and Documentation:
- Maintain accurate records of facility operations, maintenance activities, and security incidents.
- Prepare regular reports for senior management on facility status, issues, and improvement plans.
- Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead, train, and develop a team of facility and maintenance staff.
- Foster a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement within the team.
- Bachelor\'s degree in Facility Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in facility management required.
