They perform analyses of operational processes, resource allocation and energy use, safety processes to recommend and to implement improvements.Job ResponsibilitiesContract Management and HSSE
To maintain, test and implement disaster planning procedures to cover all emergencies.
Day to day management/supervision of contractors of hard services and soft services
Management of Asset Register and ensuring PPM of the assets are carried out accordingly
Carrying out inspections and condition Audits on service providers and building
Statutory maintenance:
Ensure that the properties comply with all statutory regulations. All relevant tests and inspections are carried out in accordance with the regulations and records maintained accordingly
Fit-out/Small works:
Managing the fit out and the alteration process for each property, ensuring always that the works comply with local Authorities.
Refurbishment works:
Plan, organize and deliver projects in liaison with the Property Manager
Prepare scope of works for RFP process
Budget:
To assist the Facilities Manager in the financial management of the property through the preparation of service charge budgets, the monitoring of agreed budgets to pre-defined cash limits
Sustainability:
To take initiative for energy saving and sustainability programme. Implement energy savin measures to reduce carbon footprint and save cost.
General
Prepare required reports as required by the management
To carry our building inspections and audits on regular basis.
Compile and record all documentations related to technical aspects of the properties
Job RequirementsQualifications
Degree in Engineering (MEP background)
Member of a trade association i.e. MEFMA, IWFM is preferable
IOSH or NEBOSH certification is preferable
Experience
More than 5 years as Facilities Engineer or similar role managing property
Knowledge & Skills
Competent in Microsoft Office Software and CAFM
Ability to interact with staff at all levels
Good interpersonal skills
Maintain high level of confidentiality
Ability to work under pressure
Effective Communication skills
Attention to details
Proficiency in English (spoken and written) / Arabic is an advantage
