Job Description

:

Albarq National General Contracting is seeking a skilled and experienced Facade Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the design, construction, and installation of facade systems for our projects. This role requires a deep understanding of building envelopes, materials, and structural requirements, as well as excellent coordination skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and oversee the implementation of facade systems, including curtain walls, cladding, and glazing systems.
• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and construction teams to develop cost-effective and innovative facade solutions.
• Ensure all facade designs meet safety, aesthetic, and performance standards, including thermal and acoustic performance.
• Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and calculations for facade systems.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor construction progress to ensure compliance with design and quality standards.
• Resolve any technical issues related to facade construction during the project lifecycle.
• Stay updated with the latest trends, materials, and technologies in facade engineering.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in facade engineering, including aluminum and steel facade systems.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and facade analysis tools.
• Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and material specifications.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in the UAE or GCC region.
• Certification in facade engineering or relevant technical courses.
• Familiarity with sustainable and energy-efficient facade solutions.
