Job Description

We are seeking an experienced fabricator for manufacturing and assembling sheet metal and busbar components. This includes cutting, bending, welding, drilling, and assembling metal and copper parts according to engineering drawings and quality standards. The role requires attention to detail, technical expertise, and adherence to safety

Duties & Responsibilities

Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work instructions. Fabricate sheet metal enclosures, busbars, and other switchgear components using cutting, bending, punching, and welding techniques. Operate fabrication machinery such as CNC machines, shearing machines, press brakes, drilling machines, and welding equipment. Ensure accuracy in dimensions and tolerances according to engineering specifications. Perform quality checks on fabricated parts to ensure they meet company standards. Conduct grinding, deburring, and finishing processes to achieve the required surface finish. Collaborate with the design and engineering teams to resolve fabrication issues. Follow workplace safety protocols and wear the required PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). Maintain and troubleshoot fabrication equipment as needed. Document fabrication processes and report any defects or deviations from specifications. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.
Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in metal fabrication or welding is preferred. Minimum 1-2 Years Experience Deep electrical system, power generation, blueprints, maintenance, and repair knowledge Proficiency in using fabrication tools and machinery, knowledge of sheet metal and busbar fabrication techniques, and familiarity with welding methods Welding certification and CNC machine operation certification (preferred) Awareness of local electrical codes and regulations. Excellent problem-solving skills Willing to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting heavy objects
