: 3. Principal Accountabilities: a. Receives instructions from direct Supervisor to accomplish the maintenance requirements of plant operating facility or new instal!ati on b. Review & read isometric drawings and diagrams of existing or new facility for repairs and new installation_ c. Understanci SOW of minor project work, checking site dimensions, assessing material, tool and equipment requirements, establishing method and time for installation in liaison with other departments. d. Ensure that all pOefitling and fabrication work is carried out in accordance with company procedure & International standards_ Co ordinate with Inspection and Mechanical section to apply various NM- technique on fabricated items and hydro testing, e. Be conversant with the Wefthng processes and procedures for ferrous and non-ferrous metals, including the mechanical properties and practical applications of such materials, t Produces sjmple Isometric sketches from measurements as taken on site for the purpose of fabrication to close tolerance. g. Assist Machinist to maintains metal cutting machine tools and other machine shop equipmerr. for making or modification of parts of equipment/ machinery as required by other Mainlenance section. h. Encompassing the direct supervision of Welders and Fabricators in their performance of lnstallatiort, Maintenance and Repairs to small and large bore pipe work, Pressure Vessels and Structural steel work in plant 8. work shop. L Ensure adequate quantity of rrialerials availability and prepare requisitions for additional stock as and when required. j. Check all carnpfeled work for conformity to specifications and dimensions by using calipers and other measuring tools. k_ Conduct daily tool box talks and promotes and observes good Housekeeping practices at site and workshop. 1. Ensure that workforce perform their duties in compliance to Company HSE regulations, permit to work system requirements when on site and encourage the work group to write Near Miss reports_ Familiarize & maintain proper and continuous knowledge of Company\'s HSE procedures, rules and regulations & abide by !hem at all times_ m. Assist UAE Nationals In achieving their training goals.
