Job Description

We are looking for Fabrication Mechanical Engineer for our production department. Candidate should have minimum 1 year of experience as a fabricator in a production environment.

Technical Proficiency: - Knowledge of various fabrication processes such as welding, cutting, bending, and assembling.

Proficiency in using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) for designing and modelling components. Operating Lathe, Milling, 3D Printer and CNC machines.

Engineering Principles: Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and materials science. - Ability to apply engineering theories to solve practical fabrication challenges.

Blueprint Reading and Interpretation: - Competence in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications. - Understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).

Quality Control : Knowledge of quality assurance and control processes to ensure compliance with standards and specifications. Ability to conduct inspections and tests to verify the integrity of fabricated components.

Problem-Solving: - Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve fabrication issues. Creativity in developing innovative solutions to complex problems.

Safety Awareness: - Knowledge of safety protocols and regulations in the fabrication industry.

Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail to ensure precision in fabrication tasks. Consistent monitoring of work to avoid errors and defects.

Material Knowledge: Understanding of different materials used in fabrication, including their properties and applications. Ability to select appropriate materials for specific projects.

Manufacturing Process Knowledge: Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as machining, casting, and forging. Integration of these processes with fabrication tasks to optimize production.

Computer Skills: Proficiency in using computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software. Ability to utilize software for project management, documentation, and communication.

Teamwork: Ability to lead and supervise fabrication teams. Strong teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues and other departments. Skills in meeting project deadlines and handling multiple projects simultaneously.

Continuous Learning: Willingness to stay updated with advancements in fabrication technology and engineering practices. Participation in ongoing training and professional development.
